My hopes & dreams as a Home Schooling Mom when my son was 3 years old…
Home schooling- Piece of Cake! My child would start school at 4 years and from there learn all of the major subjects, a language every 2 years, piano, percussion, violin, guitar, excel in 2 sports, know computers inside and out, love literature, love art, debate beautifully and be an amazing Constitution & Biblical scholar! Done!
My reality as a Home Schooling Mom…
At 12, and finishing 6th grade, my son loves video games, LEGOS, movies, camping & despises writing anything (the whole act of writing is a chore), drags his heels with almost every class and is average-ish in sports. He did learn percussion, loves people, is compassionate, loyal & loves the Lord. He excels in math, loves science and dreams of programming computers and designing video games. He can be found playing with LEGOs or creating a manual for his favorite video game. Einstein?.. no… but he is one amazing kid and I adore him!
